Our apprenticeships

What to expect

Our apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for you to earn while you learn. You’ll spend approximately one day a week training for a professional qualification. The rest of the time, you’ll work on one of our business teams, experiencing firsthand how we partner with our clients to find smart, innovative solutions for the challenges they face. Here’s what else you could be doing:

Advising a leading high street retailer on how to invest their employee pension funds
Defining and securing sufficient insurance cover for an airline
Helping our insurance clients to spread their own risk effectively

Who we look for

Each apprenticeship has its own challenges, so you must meet the specific requirements of the role. Wherever you join us, you’ll need to be ready to start contributing from day one and commit to building up your skills, knowledge and experience throughout your time at WTW.

Your development

You’ll spend 80% of your time doing hands-on learning as an apprentice and 20% doing training through:

Textbook and online classroom learning
Live online tutorials
Support from a tutor and skills coach
Professional examinations

Online assessment

We use the Swift Comprehension Aptitude Test to assess verbal and numerical comprehension, as well as error checking skills. Practice tests for this assessment can be found on the Saville Assessments website.
